Did you get a chance taco to the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Farley Park last weekend? If not, you missed the opportunity to win seven bikes, two scooters, and 32 sports balls –  footballs, soccer balls, and basketballs. You missed hearing Yanderyn Olivares sing our National Anthem and Herminia Ramirez sing the Mexican National Anthem. You also missed sampling mucho delicious snacks and treats from 16 food and artisan vendors. Plus, you missed mariachi music, folk dancing, and hanging out with 1,000 of your closest friends. But, no problemo! Next year’s Fiesta is already set for May 3, 2025.

According to Jamie Henderson, executive director of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce, the organization that puts on the event, over 1,000 people – young and old alike— attended the annual celebration. Henderson stated, “Thank you to everyone that came together to make this year’s Cinco de Mayo Fiesta a success–including the support of our many sponsors! It was a beautiful day with lots of great food, music, dancing, and fun.”
