The 2024 Walleye Classic provided perfect weather to be out walleye fishing. “The fishing was so phenomenal that the winners of the tournament, T.J. Albrecht and Chris Parsons, came in to weigh their fish at noon because they already had their limit,” commented Nicolle Berkner, president of the Big Stone Walleye Classic nonprofit organization.

Doug DeVries and Dalton Koch were right behind them for second place. They also caught six fish, and their catch weighed in at 26.75 pounds.

Their heaviest fish topped the scales at 9.25 pounds to win Biggest Fish of the Tournament. As a team, they took home $3500. The top 10 teams all went home with cash prizes.
