The Milbank Area Retired Teacher and Personnel Association (MARTA) will meet at Pizza Ranch at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 15. Two presentations are featured in this month’s program.
Johanna Ward, an elementary teacher from Hamburg, will talk about her experiences as a teacher in Germany. Johanna is the daughter of former Milbank native Phillip Ward, who also resides in Germany.
Bill and Cathy Zubke of Watertown will provide tips on keeping your brain healthy and active. Guests are welcome to attend both presentations. A short business meeting will follow.
