MHS Homecoming Week Info and Schedule

2024 Homecoming for Milbank High will be celebrated September 8 – 13. Coronation is scheduled for Sunday, September 8, at 7 p.m. in the National Guard Armory. The 2023 royalty, Nadia Thue and Raul Berrones will crown their successors.

Tickets for Coronation are $2 per adult or student in grades 1-12. Activity passes will not be accepted.

Royalty Candidates 
Queen: Isabella Anderson, daughter of Paul and Jennifer Anderson; Tyra Berry, daughter of Annie Berry and Travis and Carey Berry; Ella Sandvig, daughter of Brian and Janel Sandvig; Claire Snaza, daughter of Darin and Beth Snaza; Gemma Street, daughter of Jesse and Nikki Street; and Siera Wenzl, daughter of Steve and Steph Wenzl. 

King : Owen Fischer, son of Charles and Johanna Fischer; Chaxton Goldammer, son of Travis and Carey Berry; Emmett Hanson, son of Mike and Jess Hanson; Oliver Korth, son of Sheldon and Noelle Korth; Graham Lightfield, son of John and Kimberly Lightfield; and Jesse Schneck, son of Brian and Sherri Schneck. 

Buttons
Homecoming buttons will be sold for $2 apiece. High School students can purchase buttons from any member of the student council throughout the week while supplies last. Students at Milbank Elementary School and St. Lawrence School took home  a pre-order sheet. Middle school students can purchase buttons on Tuesday, September 10, or Wednesday, September 11, from 7:45 – 8:10 a.m. outside the office at Milbank Middle School. 

Beads
Sales of Bulldog Beads by Bulldogs Fighting Cancer are closed to pre-order, but the beads can still be purchased from Officer Folk’s office Monday through Wednesday, September 9-11, from 7:45 until 8:10 a.m. Beads range in price from $2 to $10. 

Theme for 2024 Homecoming: Music Festival 
The senior class chose country, the junior class, rock and roll, sophomores, classical; and freshmen, Y2K pop.

Schedule for Dress-Up Days:
Monday – Monochromatic Monday; 
Tuesday – Mathlete vs. Athlete; 
Wednesday – Dress as an artist from your musical genre; 
Thursday – Rhyme Without Reason
Friday – Maroon and Gold Day. 

Game and Tailgate and After Party
The Bulldogs will take on the Tigers of Groton in their Homecoming football game at A.B. Campbell Stadium.on Friday, September 13. Kick-off is at 7 p.m.  Prior to the game, Bulldogs Fighting Cancer will host a tailgate starting at 4:30 p.m. Get a Millstone roast beef sandwich, chips, bar/cookie, and a drink for $5. Following the football game, The MHS Student Council will host a dodgeball tournament for students in the National Guard Armory.
