The Bulldogs traveled to Redfield on Tuesday, September 17. Mark Keeton, head coach for Milbank, commented, “Jonathan DeBoer notched another second–place finish with an impressive one over 71.”  DeBoer was edged out by just one stroke by champion Finn Anderson of Aberdeen Roncalli, who carded a 70.  Keeton noted the meet was highly competitive as the top-10 golfers all scored in the 70s. He also mentioned the weather, “Once again, we were treated to an extremely windy meet.”

Owen Fischer took 11th place for Milbank at 80. Charlie Peery carded 90 for 27th place. Gregory Grabow came in 29th with his score of 91.

“We continue to move in the right direction,” Keeton said. The Bulldogs will have no time to rest on their laurels, however, as they start another busy week leading into the regional tournament.
