The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has begun mailing ballots to all agricultural producers and private landowners across the country who are eligible to vote... Deadline for FSA LAA2  Ballots is December 2

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has begun mailing ballots to all agricultural producers and private landowners across the country who are eligible to vote in the Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Committee Election. Producers and landowners must return ballots to their local FSA county office or have their ballots  postmarked by December  2 in order for their ballots to be counted. Newly-elected committee members will take office January 1, 2025.

Committee members make important decisions about how federal farm programs are administered in Local Administrative Areas (LAA).  LAA 2 composed of Alban, Big Stone, Grant Center, and Melrose is conducting the FSA County Committee Election this year.

Adam Pauli is the current representative of LAA No. 2, and he has been nominated for a second term. Write-In ballots are acceptable provided that the person is willing to serve and is eligible to hold office.
