The Milbank Middle School and Milbank High School bands and choirs will present their annual Christmas concerts in the next two weeks at Milbank High School.
Middle School Concert – December 10
The middle school musicians – sixth, seventh, and eighth graders – will share their music on Tuesday, December 10. The middle school ensembles, conducted by Susan Karels and Miriam Schwenn, will feature each grade level performing a variety of holiday favorites.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the high school theater. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. No admission fee.
High School Concert – December 15
The high school band and choir groups, also under the direction of Karels and Schwenn, will share seasonal melodies, familiar carols, and original tunes on December 15. Instrumental features and soloists will be highlighted.
The concert starts at 2 p.m. in the high school theater. Door opens at 1 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Activity passes will be accepted.
Music families are reminded to bring one dozen cookies or bars to the school from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the concert.
