The Lady Bulldogs basketball team has an experienced roster to draw from this year, including seven seniors. They used it to their advantage when they hosted Wahpeton, North Dakota, in their 2024-25 season opener on December 12. Milbank chalked up the win with the final score of 67-62.  

Senior Isabella Anderson led Milbank with 28 points, four assists, and two rebounds. Senior Tyra Berry scored 18 points, two rebounds, and two steals;. Senior Josie Riveland hit double figures with 10 points, four assists, four rebounds, and two steals. Senior Anna  Neugebauer made four points and recovered five rebounds. Senior Ella Sandvig scored three points and grabbed one rebound. Seniors Siera Wenzl and Claire Snaza each scored two points and grabbed  three rebounds. Freshman Belle Pauli brought down three rebounds.

Milbank hit 45 percent of their shots from the floor and Wahpeton finished at 46.8 percent. In total, Milbank secured 33 rebounds to Wahpeton’s 25.

Milbank 39 vs. Lennox 48

Milbank took the loss against Lennox in the first road trip game of the 2024-25 season on December 14. The final score settled at 48-39

Tyra Berry led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points. Isabella Anderson added 11. Claire Snaza and Belle Pauli scored four points apiece.  Siera Wenzl and Josie Riveland each made two. Riveland also had four assists and hauled down five rebounds. Anderson had seven boards; Snaza had  six;. Pauli made four.  Rylee Scoular got three, and Wenzl, Berry and Anna Neugebauer pulled down one apiece.

Milbank hit 35 percent of their shots from the floor. The Lady Orioles downed 32 percent.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 31 percent of their 3-point shots. Lennox hit just 11 percent. Milbank downed 80 percent of their free throw attempts. The Lady Orioles were close at 78 percent.

Ryan Hanssen put up 23 points for Lennox. Andie Peters added 10.
