The Lady Bulldogs trounced Tiospa Zina 70-21 in a non-conference game in Agency Village on Monday, January 14.  Isabella Anderson scored 23 points, including 12 from long range. Tyra Berry scored 20. She also added two assists and five steals. Claire Snaza put up a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Avery Schuneman made eight points, two assists, a block, and a steal. Ella Sandvig hit a three-pointer and Anna Neugebauer added a bucket and a free throw. Rylee Scoular dropped in a basket and made one assist.

Belle Pauli added 11 boards. Neugebauer had nine. Berry contributed six. Bree Townsend pulled down four.

For Tiospa Zina, Lattice Rodland scored six points, including a three-pointer.

Maya Deutsch and Haley Journee each put up  five. Deutsch also got a steal and collected on three of her four free throws. Talia Robertson scored three points and made two rebounds. Faith Fourstar had three rebounds.

Overall, the Lady Bulldogs hit 43 percent of their shots from the floor. They made 35 percent beyond the arc. At the free throw line they downed nine of 11 for nearly 82 percent. The Lady Wambdi hit eight of 14 from the line for 57 percent.

As of this week, the Media Poll lists the five highest-ranked high school girls basketball teams in the state in Class A as Sioux Falls Christian (8-0); Vermillion (7-1); Mahpiya Luta (8-0); Dakota Valley (8-0); and Hamlin (5-2).
