Bulldogs Win in Hoops at 2025 Dak XII/NEC Clash

Milbank cagers  broke their three-game losing streak with a solid victory over the Huskies of Elk Point-Jefferson on Saturday, February 1. Their 50-30 win was showcased during the annual Dak XII/NEC Clash in Madison. 

Emmett Hanson racked up double-double for the Bulldogs with 18 points and 13 rebounds. He topped things off with a steal and a block. Sam Rick dumped in 12 points and won the battle on the boards for eight. Ryan Keeton made a trio of three-pointers to pump in nine points. He added two rebounds. Jack Howard, Charlie Peery, and Graham Lightfield each added three points. Lightfield’s and Peery’s both came from downtown. Lightfield also swiped the ball from the Huskies five times. Layten Osowski made a basket, an assist, and three rebounds.

Bryan Meyer and Lincoln Holscher each secured three boards. Meyer also grabbed a steal. Jaxson Wiese, Howard, Hanson, and Rick recorded a steal apiece.Howie Zemlicka made one assist.

Chase Swanson led the scoring for Elk-Point -Jefferson with 17 points. Grayson Girard was next with four points. Landon Johnson made three. Aiden Hammitt pulled down 11 rebounds and made a basket. Brody Van Roekel made two from the stripe. Ashton Fairbanks made a bucket.to go with his six rebounds and two steals. Ben Prouty had two boards and made four steals. Landon Johnsen made four rebounds and three steals.
