The Milbank Area Chamber Agriculture Committee invites everyone to celebrate Ag Appreciation Day on Monday, March 11. Rise and shine and start your day at the Free Will Pancake Feed served by the Milbank FFA and 2025 Miss Milbank Jericho Jones. Catch up with friends and neighbors over a hot cup of coffee and sausage, eggs, pancakes, fruit, and juice. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. and continues until 9:30 a.m. at the Grant County 4-H Complex.
Breakfast will be followed by two Networking Speakers. Joseph Prohaska, a marketing consultant from Hurley & Associates, will offer tips on business-minded grain marketing, including a market overview and hedge accounts. Stephanie Larscheid of Prairie Family Business Association will follow at 10:15 with Succession Planning: The Make-or-Break Point. Learn about developing a plan that ensures a smooth transition of leadership while preserving your family legacy and business continuity.
Enjoy networking, stop by to visit with vendors, and enter the raffle to win prizes! Raffle tickets are one for $10 or three for $20 and you need not be present to win. Prizes include a 3600 watt generator, an air fryer, four Farley Fest tickets, a DeWalt rechargeable flashlight,and $50 Runnings gift cards, and more. Proceeds will help support the MIlbank Area Chamber of Commerce’s (MACC) agriculture scholarships.
