The Milbank girls basketball teams held their end-of-the season supper and awards ceremony at the high school. Brian Pauli serves as the head coach for the Lady Bulldogs.
The 2024-25 awards as voted on by the players: The Defense-Hustle award went to Siera Wenzl. The Most Improved award for the JV team went to Avery Schuneman. The Most Improved award for the varsity team went to Belle Pauli. Ella Sandvig received The Spirit of the Bulldog award. Isabella Anderson and Tyra Berry were each presented with an MVP award.
Six players earned Academic All-State awards: Claire Snaza, Sandvig, Rylee Scoular, Wenzl, Anderson, and Berry.
Anderson and Berry were honored as Northeast Conference All-Conference Players. Anderson was selected for the first team and Berry for the second team.
Berry was also recognized for reaching the 1000-point milestone this season. Anderson was singled out for being selected to participate in the Girls Three-Class Shootout. She also received the Lady Bulldogs’ Dedication award.
Pauli gave kudos to Kalli Grong, Kenzie Kooima, and Macy Mueller – student managers on the team. He also thanked the assistant coaches, Tony Howard and Eric Townsend. He gave a shout out to Chad Nolz, the Voice of the Bulldog, and the players’ parents.

Participant certificates were earned by Zayda Townsend, Bree Townsend, Adison Pauli, Lydia Gall, Keira Untalan, Bailee Hendricks, Lauren Lester, Avigail Howard, Sophia Schuchard, Haylen Schneck, Brielle Bumgardner, Kylynn Schwandt, Susie Schuneman, Ella Koplin, Charlotte Swanson, and Violet Johnson.
