Bulldogs Win Big at Clear Lake Relays

The Bulldogs track and field teams competed in the Deuel Kiwanis Relays at Clear Lake on April 22. The Milbank boys brought home three first-place and six second-place finishes. The girls collected seven first-place and five second-place awards. Together, the two teams earned dozens of top-eight finishes.
Boys Top Places:
First-Place Awards- Sam Rick in the Long Jump and the Triple Jump. Emmett Hanson in the 300-Meter Hurdles.
Second-Place Awards – Liam Heller in the 1600-Meter Run. Jeter Scoular in the 3200-Meter Run. Scoular, Beckham Berry, Liam Street, and Heller in the 3200-Meter Relay. Garrett Weber, Mason Allen, Lance Engebretson, and Gage Newstrand in the 400-Meter Relay. Graham Lightfield, Harley Zemlicka, Bennett Hunt, and Hanson in the Bulldog Relay. Emmett Hanson in the 110-Meter Hurdles. Oliver Korth in the Shot.
Girls Top Places:
First-Place Awards – Zayda Townsend, Macy Mueller, Bianca Berry, and Ella Koplin in the 3200-Meter Relay. Jacy Dexter, Z. Townsend, Violet Johnson, and Siera Wenzl in the 800-Meter Relay. Dexter, Johnson, Bree Townsend, and Wenzl in the 400-Meter Relay. Dexter, Z. Townsend, Wenzl and Koplin in the Medley Relay. Koplin, Z. Townsend, Adison Pauli, and Wenzl in the Bulldog Relay. Haylen Schneck in the 400-Meter Dash and High Jump (Also Tied for Middle School 7th Record – 4’ 8”).
Second-Place Awards – Aria Prasnicki in the 400-Meter Dash. B. Townsend in the 200-Meter Dash. Berry in the 3200-Meter Run. Anna Neiugebauer in the Triple Jump. Jacy Dexter in the Pole Vault.
New Marks Etched on the MHS Honor Roll – Raina Untalan moved into the No 6 spot on the Varsity HR in Pole Vault. Timbree Spors landed at No. 7 on the Varsity HR in the Pole Vault (Also, the MS 7th Rec). Brielle Baumgardner took over the No 9 spot on the Varsity HR in the Pole Vault.
