Fernando’s Rib Company was crowned the Grand Champion at Q-Fest on Saturday June 21, during Farley Fest 2025 in Mibank. Fernando’s brought home the bacon in the form of an $1100 prize. The team also took first place in the Pork Butt and the Pork Spare Ribs competitions to add an additional $800 and take their total prize money to $1900.

Despite scorching temperatures that hovered around 100 degrees, seven teams competed. Red Ring BBQ won the People’s Choice Award. They were rewarded with a $250 prize. They also beefed up their winnings with second place in the Pork Spare Ribs division and third place in the Pork Butt competition to take their total prize money to $750.
