Fourteen new staff members will officially ring in the 2025-26 Milbank school year at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19. Dismissal will be at 3:15 p.m. The newest personnel will help greet 1,017 students, although the total number continues to increase. The final tally is expected to be announced on September 26.
The new faces have spent time settling in and getting ready for the fall term, including a special in-service day for new teachers and support staff on August 11 and three days of all-staff preparation. A get-acquainted supper for any staff wishing to attend will be held on Monday, September 8, prior to the regular school board meeting.
