Jonathan DeBoer Signs to Play Golf at Northwestern College

MHS senior Jonathan DeBoer has signed a letter of intent to play for the men’s golf team at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Jonathan Beaver, head golf coach at Northwestern, was present at the signing to welcome DeBoer into the Raider family.

DeBoer has been a member of the Bulldog varsity golf team since seventh grade. Last fall as a junior,  DeBoer wrapped up his fifth season as a varsity starter by tying for third place at South Dakota’s 2024 State A Golf Tournament. DeBoer also was named to the 2024 All-Tournament Team. He is the son of Loren and Betty DeBoer. 

Mark Keeton, head golf coach at MHS, said, “I am very excited for Jonathan. He puts in more time than any kid I know and is very deserving of this. I look forward to seeing what he accomplishes in his final year as a Bulldog and to following his college career.”
