MHS Band and Colorguard to March in Hobo Day Parade

The Milbank High School Band will be marching in the Hobo Day Parade in Brookings on Saturday, October 11. The annual event at South Dakota State University will also include high school bands from Chester, Dakota Valley, Miller, and Webster Area.

The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. The parade route begins at the Agricultural Heritage Museum at the corner of Medary Avenue and 11st Street. The route follows Medary Avenue to 6th Street, turns west at 6th Street, follows 6th Street to Main Avenue, turns south onto Main Avenue, and finishes at Front Street. The marching band judges will be stationed on 6th Street in the Best Choice Real Estate booth.The MHS Band is under the direction of Susan Karels. The MHS Colorguard is instructed by Jamie DeBoer.
