The Milbank Middle School and Milbank High School bands and choirs will present their annual Christmas concerts in the Milbank High School Theater.
Middle school musicians (grades 6-8) will share their music on Tuesday, December 9. Ensembles conducted by instructors Susan Karels and Miriam Schwenn will feature each grade level performing a variety of holiday favorites. Doors open at 6:30. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. The middle school concert is Free and open to everyone.
The high school musicians, also under the direction of Karels and Schwenn, will share seasonal melodies, familiar carols, and original tunes at 2 p.m. on December 14.
Instrumental features and soloists are among the mix of each large group’s presentation. Doors open at 1 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Activity passes will be accepted. (Music families are reminded to bring one dozen cookies or bars to the school from 1-2 p.m. prior to the concert.)
