Diedes “And 1” Cheer on the Bulldogs 

One of the tiniest fans of the Milbank Bulldogs made quite a splash in her sweet and snazzy cheer uniform during the Milbank vs. Dell Rapids basketball game at the Milbank Armory on Saturday, December 13.

Head basketball coach Logan Diede and his wife Lauren, the school nurse at Milbank Elementary, welcomed a bouncing baby girl to their family on September 28. Maya Monroe Diede was just  6 pounds 8 ounces when she came into the world – that’s less than five basketballs. But she is growing every day, and it won’t be long before she is clapping and cheering “Go Dawgs!”

Although the word  “dribble” has taken on a new meaning in the Diede household, Coach Diede stated, ”Lauren and I have been loving every minute of this amazing new stage of life as parents!”
