Miss Milbank 2026 Olivia Foell feels it is important to be an advocate for literacy. As the guest of the MIlbank Elementary School and Principal Dave Graf, Olivia read stories to the students of Mrs. Lester, Mrs. Huber, Mrs. Scott, and Miss Essington. She also stopped by Mrs. Wagner’s third-grade classroom – Olivia’s cadet teaching class – to wish them a Merry Christmas.
Olivia enjoyed her morning spent reading and talking to the students and teachers and the many hugs she collected. “The most fun part for me was seeing how excited the kids got,” she said.
She also found the student question-and-answer sessions a lively experience. What were the kids most interested in learning about the Snow Queen? Do you have a castle? Do you know Santa? Where did you get your crown? How long have you been a princess?
