Everett “Butch” Albrecht

Everett “Butch” Albrecht, 87, of Milbank, SD, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Peaceful Pines in Milbank. 

No formal services will be held.

Everett “Butch” Leo Albrecht was born on November 11, 1938, in the Antigo, Wisconsin, area to Walter Albrecht, Sr. and Lucille Neumeg. He attended school locally before serving in the United States Army, where he worked as a welder.

Throughout his life, Butch lived in several places including Wisconsin, California, Texas, Washington, and South Dakota. He especially enjoyed spending time at the lake, particularly at Big Stone Lake. He also had a deep love for his dogs, truly cherishing the companionship they brought him.

Butch is survived by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter Albrecht, Sr. and Lucille Rusch.

Memorials may be given to a humane society of your choice in memory of Butch.
