Vince (Bubba) and Amy Yamaura were honored for their outstanding dedication to Bulldog athletics at the Bulldog Booster Club’s annual meeting on Wednesday, April 8. The Yamauras were recognized for their unwavering support of student athletics by consistently attending events and contributing to the positive spirit of the Bulldog community.
The Booster Club includes 580 members this year. Membership growth, fundraising efforts, and funded projects for the 2025–2026 school year were reviewed. Funded initiatives highlighted: the three-year uniform rotation, football sideline jackets, postseason support for teams, livestreaming from Hudl cameras, improvements to football practice fields, strength and conditioning programs, new electronic school record boards, and the new “Tuffy” mascot costume. The club is also partnering with the City of Milbank and the Milbank School District on a Turf Tank field painting robot.
Updates were also shared regarding fundraising events such as the Alumni Basketball Tournament, the annual Booster Club golf event, and the fall membership drive. The Booster Club continues to operate the concession stands at school events. They often work in tandem with student organizations such as HOSA, Educators Rising, Spanish Club, and Post Prom to support their efforts.
Attendees were encouraged to share their ideas and feedback. The Booster Club also plans to gather input through a community survey.
