The Lady Bulldogs all claimed volleyball victories on Thursday, September 24. The JV team took down Redfield 2-1, the eighth-grade team swept Watertown, and the seventh-grade team finished in a split.

JV Match – Milbank 2 vs. Redfield 1
Milbank took the win 2-1. Set scores were 25-12, 24-26, and 15-11. Coach Kelli Pillatzki said, “Our girls served well and played with real urgency.”

Eighth-Grade Match – Milbank 2 vs. Watertown 0
The Lady Bulldogs eighth-grade team defeated Watertown  2-0 on the road on Tuesday, September 24. Set scores in Match One were 25-18 and  25-23. Set scores in Match Two were both 25-13.

“With two  weeks left, the eighth graders are playing very well together even with a few disruptions,” commented Coach Nancy Hoeke. Hoeke also noted a change to the schedule. The Morris Tournament  will take place on Saturday, October 3.
