The Junior Busy Bees 4-H Club volunteered at the Watertown Humane Society on Thursday, August 11. The members assisted with cleaning the dog and cat pens as well as walking dogs. Following the cleaning, the members enjoyed a picnic lunch at the Watertown City Park. They concluded the day by swimming at the Watertown Aquatics Center.

“A special thanks to Sara Koepke, Grant County 4-H Advisor, for chaperoning for the day,” expressed Susan Karels, Junior Busy Bees leader.

The next Junior Busy Bees 4-H Club meeting will be Sunday, September 18, at the courthouse basement at 1:30 p.m. Serving lunch will be Nadia Thue and Shaylee Schuchard. Record book help sessions will be held prior to that day. Karels reminds all 4-Her’s that record books are due September 30.
