Toby Schneck and Jessica Van Peursem Crowned MHS Homecoming Royalty

Jessica Van Peursem was chosen as the 2020 MHS Homecoming Queen, and Toby Schneck was selected as the Homecoming King. Jessica is the daughter of Dr. Nanci and Kendall Van Peursem. Toby is the son of Sherri and Brian Schneck. Coronation was held in the MHS Theater tonight, September 14, and each royalty candidate were given six tickets to the event. Emma DeBoer and Peyton Wiese served as emcees.

This year, the traditional burning of the “M’” was canceled. There will also be no Homecoming parade on Friday. The Bulldogs will, however, take on the Groton Tigers in the annual Homecoming football game at 6 p.m. Friday at Art Campbell Stadium.
