Coach Thompson Announces End-of-Season Football Awards

Mick Thompson, head coach of the MHS 2024 football team, announced the Bulldogs’ annual football award winners. Sam Rick was named the Offensive Player of the Year. Carter Gloe was selected as Defensive Player of the Year. Moises Luna Sanchez was chosen Special Teams Player of the Year. Emmett Hanson was Team MVP. Jacob Erickson won the Bulldog Award. Bennett Hunt was named Newcomer of the Year, and Mason Allen earned the award for Most Improved.

In addition, Emmett Hanson, Oliver Korth, Carter Gloe, and Sam Rick were honored for being chosen as All-NEC players. Tate Schlueter and Jesse Schneck were each also congratulated for their honorable mention on the list of All-NEC players.
