Wiik and Schweer to Play in FFA Band at Nat’l Convention

Milbank juniors Cody Wiik and Kayla Schweer will claim some of the best seats in the house –on stage –  at the 98th Annual FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis. Wiik and Schweer are MHS band students who were chosen by audio audition to be members of the 2025 National FFA Band. Wiik plays the trombone and Schweer plays the clarinet. The FFA band and chorus will perform throughout the event that runs from October 29 through November 1.

In 2024, just 77 band members from 33 states were chosen. The National FFA Band and Chorus have been part of the entertainment lineup at the annual convention for over 70 years.
