MHS Musicians Audition for All-State Band

MHS sent 25 musicians to the South Dakota All-State Band auditions held in Huron on Wednesday, January 14. Results will be announced in February. Students selected will perform in the  All-State Band concert to be held at The Monument in Rapid City on March 28. MHS students are instructed by Susan Karels (Grades 6-12). Mrs. Deb Rausch also provides assistance. 

Students who audition for All State Band also qualify for the 2026 North Area Honor Band. North Area Honor Band is held annually in Aberdeen in December.
