The Mustangs Get Away From the Bulldogs in Tri-Valley

The Bulldogs were in Tri-Valley on Valentine’s Day in hopes of avenging their loss to the Mustangs two weeks ago. Milbank took the loss at 53-41, but the Bulldogs are ready to move on. Plenty of basketball remains in the season to fine-tune the process.
Emmett Snaza led Milbank’s offense with 14 points. He added two rebounds. Jack Howard made eight points and six rebounds. Sam Rick led in rebounds with seven. He also made five points. Coming into the game near the end, Ethan Owen added six points with back-to-back 3-pointers. Lincoln Holscher scored four points and two assists, four rebounds, and one steal. Jeter Scoular made four points and four rebounds. Ryan Keeton made two assists and three boards. Braylen Bowsher recorded two rebounds and two steals. Mack Koplin made an assist and a rebound. The Bulldogs hit 35 percent of their shots from the floor. They made 14 percent from long range and four of 10 from the stripe.
Tri-Valley’s Brady Jewett put in 18 points. Lawson Schneiderman made 13 points. Ty Oyen had 10 points and three assists. Mason Hemme added three points and five rebounds. Jewett, Schneiderman, Oyen, and Kobe Krome each got three boards. The Mustangs made 44 percent of their shots from the floor. They hit one third of their shots from beyond the arc. Tri-Valley downed eight of 10 at the free throw line.

The Milbank JV team took control in the second half of their game to defeat Tri-Valley 42-31. The Bulldogs outscored the Mustangs 19-9 in the third quarter and 16-9 in the final frame.
