The Fourth Annual Larry Cantine Memorial Double Tennis Delight was played on Saturday, June 20. Players from Milbank, Sioux Falls, Brookings, and Fairmont, Minnesota, squared off at Cantine Courts in Milbank.
The 14 players were paired up and assigned to opponents randomly. Don Waletich, a 1984 graduate of Milbank High School, took the title with the most wins.
MHS players included Payton Lamp, Charlotte Swanson, and Nolan Grabow and several other MHS graduates. Larry’s granddaughter Rhianna and his son Greg directed the event.
