The Milbank Fire Department contributed a fire truck and sent several firefighters to the 2026 South Dakota State Fire School held at Lake Area Technical College (LATC) in Watertown from June 11-13. Attendees also included firefighters from Summit and Big Stone.
Kevin Schuelke, administrator for the Milbank Fire Department and head of Grant County Emergency Management, said, “Very good classes and training with instructors from state and national levels. Milbank Fire took a truck over to be utilized for training.”
