Valley Queen and the Valley Queen Charitable Foundation were honored by the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) with the Community Service Award for exceptional partnership in supporting student learning.

Valley Queen was selected for demonstrating support for Milbank students, staff, and the community using both financial contributions and hands-on service. Their generosity has benefited CTE programs, school practice facilities, the Special Olympics, FFA, HOSA, Educators Rising, FCCLA, FBLA, fine arts programs, and the Bulldog Booster Club.

“Valley Queen and its charitable foundation have made an amazing impact on the education, experiences, and lives of students in the Milbank School District,” said Heath Larson, the executive director of ASBSD.

ASBSD is a private, nonprofit association that represents around 850 South Dakota school board members from the 147 school districts in the state.
