REMINDER: Bulldogs Take on Canton This Thursday Night

Don’t miss the last football game of Milbank’s regular season on Thursday, October 22. (Their final matchup before the playoffs is often played on Thursday instead of the traditional Friday.) The Bulldogs head to Canton (6-2). It will also be Senior Night for the C-Hawks, so the Bulldogs will need to bring their A-game.

Milbank is coming off a 52-0 loss from undefeated Sioux Falls Christian on Friday, October 16, at Bob Young Field on the campus of the University of Sioux Falls. In spite of being flagged for 10 penalties, the Chargers steamrolled their way to their 20th victory in a row.  Milbank had just one penalty, but struggled to accumulate enough yardage to get points on the board. Quarterback Lincoln Holscher, along with Bennett Hunt, Sam Rick, and Liam Street led Milbank’s offense.

Hunt led the Bulldogs defense with nine solo tackles. Mason Allen had five. Ethan Seyer, Brady Allen, Rick, and Max Scoular each had two solo tackles. Kaleb Lindstrom, Beau Street, Jack Street, Cooper Mueller, Emmett Snaza, Maxton Shafer and Adrian Seyer, each made one.

Hunt, Lindstrom, E. Seyer, A. Seyer, and B. Allen recorded three assists apiece. Bryton Blauer got two assists. Franklin Pederson, Brock Sime, and Kale Wenzl each made one assist. B. Allen, E. Seyer, and B. Street each had one  tackle for a loss. E. Seyer and B. Street each claimed one sack for the Bulldogs.
