Superintendent Tim Graf announced Amy Brandriet has been hired as the Koch Elementary School Principal in Milbank for the 2016-2017 school year. The hire was approved at the regular meeting of the Board of Education held this evening, April 11. Brandriet was chosen from the fourteen applicants applying for this position.
Amy is originally from DeSmet and was previously a special education teacher in the Hamlin and DeSmet school districts. Brandriet is currently the principal and special education director for the Viborg-Hurley School District.
Amy and husband, Russ, have four children – Braden, Brooklyn, Bo, and Brinley. “Mrs. Brandriet will be coming to Milbank in the next couple of weeks at which time we hope to have an opportunity to introduce her to the Koch School staff,” stated Superintendent Graf. “We are pleased to have her and her family join our community.”
