Emanuel Lutheran Members Serve At The Banquet

Nearly 40 members of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank volunteered at The Banquet in Sioux Falls Saturday, June 4.

The Banquet serves 13 meals a week to people in need of nourishment. Volunteer groups cook the meals, serve the meals, clean up afterwards and cover the cost of the meals.

Emanuel members served 296 meals in one hour with 60 of those meals being served to children. “The experience is more than serving meals, it is showing love in action. It is about offering fellowship and hope to others,” expressed Beth Wagner, Emanuel Lutheran Church member.
