Chamber Announces Third Band for Farley Fest

The Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce announced the band LIT joins the lineup for the Farley Fest Country Concert on Saturday, July 21. LIT joins Clare Dunn as an opening act and Chase Bryant, who is the headliner for the event. “We are really offering it all to the Farley Fest concert goers by adding a third band,” stated Milbank Area Chamber Event Director Laura Kelly. “We know the entertainment planned will be a real night of fun.”

LIT shot to stardom in 1999 with their second album A Place in the Sun. The album went platinum in the US with the hit single, My Own Worst Enemy, and the song peaked at No. 51 on Billboard’s Hot 100. It also earned a Billboard Music Award for Modern Rock Track of the Year. After LIT lost their drummer to a brain tumor in 2009, the band went through a transition to a more country-influenced sound and released their tunes Fast and Back With You.
