DeAndre French Represents Milbank in Young Artist Competition

DeAndre French, a junior at MHS, attended the Second Annual Northern State University Young Artist Competition on January 11 in Aberdeen. French, who plays the trumpet, competed against junior and senior high school students from schools in Minnesota and North and South Dakota.

A cash prize of $1000 was awarded to first place, second place received $500, and third place took home $250 in each of the four divisions. Winners also presented a public concert.
