Members Only Rock Concert To Hit Lake Farley

The Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its second annual Rock concert at Lake Farley Park Saturday, August 1, with the band Members Only playing 80s music. The gates open at 8 p.m. and the concert begins at 9 p.m.
“One thing that has seemed to confuse people is the name of the band,” explained Connie Larson, Milbank Area chamber director. “The name of the band is Members Only. This concert is open to the public. Some have thought the concert is exclusively for chamber members only and that is not the case. It is open to everyone.”
Ticket sales thus far have been hard to judge compared to the Farley Fest concert, according to Larson. “Approximately 500 people attended last year and we expect those numbers to be fairly similar again this year.” Larson explained that more people tend to purchase tickets at the door instead of in advance like the Farley concert.
Larson has heard nothing but good things among past attendance goers and is again looking forward to a great night of 80s music in a relaxed atmosphere.
Music fans can enjoy food from the Speedway, and a beer and beverage garden will be available. Those attending are asked to bring their own chair as seating will not be provided.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Tickets can be purchase at Casey’s, Food & Fuel, S&D One Stop and the chamber office.
