Area Residents Invited to Attend National Night Out

The community of Milbank is reminded to join in a family-fun evening at Lake Farley Park for the National Night Out event Wednesday (tomorrow) from 5 to 8 p.m.

Officers and personnel from the Milbank Police Department, Grant County Sheriffs Office, South Dakota Highway Patrol, Milbank Fire Department, Grant-Roberts Ambulance Department and Game, Fish and Parks will be present with vehicles, equipment, special games and activities for children. The police department will run an obstacle course for the children using Hot Wheels bikes, which will be given away at the end of the evening. Six lucky children will take home a Hot Wheels bike.

“Come out for a fun night of games, root beer floats, cotton candy, burgers and brats,” said Milbank Police Chief Boyd VanVooren. “Enjoy the night getting to know others in the community.”
