TIRE SLASHDozens of car tires were slashed on Friday night according to Milbank Police Chief Boyd VanVooren.

Ten cases were reported along Seventh Street, south of 10th Avenue, and in the parking areas of the Chalet and Highlander Apartments.

The Pribyl Park sign along Seventh Street was also vandalized.

Authorities arrested an adult male suspect Saturday afternoon, who has been detained in the Grant County Detention Center on no bond.

His name has not been released. He is being charged with intentional damage to private property with the amount of damage bumping the charge to a Class 5 felony.

Restitution will be ordered according to VanVooren. The suspect could face a bond hearing as early as this afternoon.
