Whetstone Valley Electric Awards Scholarships

Whetstone Valley Electric announced their 2016 scholarship winners during its annual meeting Thursday, March 31.

Senior Chris Loutsch was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Basin Electric Power Cooperative as a dependent of an employee in the Basin Cooperative network.

Fellow classmate Heidi Bergquist was selected as the winner of the Basin Electric/Whetstone Valley Electric $1,000 scholarship.

Dave Page, WVEC general manager, also announced that Kendra Schweer was chosen to participate in the Cooperative Youth Excursion and Mallory Trapp will be the representative for the National Rural Electric Youth Rally in Washington D.C.
