VFW Auxiliary Membership Dues To Increase

The South Dakota VFW Auxiliary Treasurer received a notice from the national headquarters informing local auxiliaries that life membership fees may increase pending a vote at the national convention in July. “If the vote passes, fees will be raised September 1, if not sooner,” stated local VFW Auxiliary representative Sharon Wellnitz.

Wellnitz further explained the fees are due to increase to bring them on par with VFW fees. This could mean lifetime dues for Auxiliary members would double. “In light of this development, members who are considering a Life Membership, should see the difference in the cost as shown below and send in payment as soon as possible.”  For questions or more information, please contact Sharon Wellnitz at 605-949-2108.
