The Grant County Development Corporation is hosting its second annual Survivor Milbank Thursday, June 16. “The intent is to bring together the young interns and employees new to the area for a fun, informational, get-to-know-us event,” explained GCDC executive director Bobbie Bohlen.
The event will begin at 3 p.m. at the Milbank Visitor Center. Participants will “earn” their way to three additional venues, ending at the Speedway for burgers and prizes. There is no cost to the participants to attend. “Everyone should be prepared to have fun. Dress comfortably and come meet new people,” said Bohlen.
Participating businesses will be billed $10 for each intern to cover the cost of food. Please RSVP to Bohlen by Friday, June 10, with the number of participants taking part in the event. Events will be determined by the weather and number of participants.
