Toastmaster’s Knuckle Down With Regular Meeting

The Babbel-Ons Toastmasters Club met Thursday, August 18, in the State Auto cafeteria with Dave Schaack serving as the Toastmaster. Kayla Pinkert was present as a guest.

The word of the day was “knuckle down” which means to apply oneself earnestly. The word was used four times during the meeting.
The speaker of the day was Jessica Roggenbuck. Her speech was entitled “The Best Vacation Ever”, which was Project 4 from the Competent Communicator Manual.

Talia Athey was the table topics master. Those participating in table topics were Chelsy Baugh, Dave Schaack, Jessica Roggenbuck, Natalie Remund, Kayla Pinkert and Talia Athey.
