2016-09-12_18-35-13Milbank Community Pride staged its annual Punt, Pass, and Kick (PPK) competition Monday, September 12. Sixty-six athletes participated. The competition is part of the nationwide NFL PPK in which youth ages 6 to 15 display their skills in punting, passing, and place kicking.

Local winners earn the opportunity to compete in the sectional competition in Castlewood on Saturday, October 8. Winners continue to advance ending at the national competition. The top 40 youth in the nation compete prior to an NFL football game January 29, 2017. NFL PPK competition began in 1961 and is the oldest NFL youth football program.

Winners in each age group were:
Boys 6-7 – Keaton Johnson (95’8”)
Girls 6-7 – Aria Prasnicki (36’5”)
Boys 8-9 – Gage Anderson (142’1”)
Girls 8-9 – Chloe Priebe (68’6”)
Boys 10-11 – Joe Schulte (204’4”)
Girls 10-11 – Siera Wenzl (88’6”)
Boys 12-13 – Isaac Schulte (285’12”)
Girls 12-13 – No participants
Boys 14-15 – Max McCulloch (236’0”)
Girls 14-15 – Shelby Lee (146’10”)

Local winners are: Max McCulloch, Isaac Schulte, Joe Schulte, Gage Anderson and Shelby Lee. Front row, Siera Wenzl, Chloe Priebe, Keaton Johnson, and Aria Prasnicki.
