Milbank High School Homecoming Coronation was performed before a packed house this evening. The ceremony concluded with the crowning of Queen Kaitlyn Rufer, daughter of Tim and Kristi Rufer, and King Nathan Bien, son of Lance and Sheila Bien. They will reign over the 2016 Homecoming festivities this week. Morgan Schmitt and Isaac Snaza, 2015 royalty, crowned their successors.
“Game Shows” was the theme for the evening’s entertainment. The seniors using “Family Feud”, the juniors using “Wheel Of Fortune”, the sophomores using “Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader”, and the freshmen using “The Newlywed Game” amused the audience with skits. The seniors were declared the winners of the skit competition.
The Student Council also put on a skit, the MHS choir and band added musical accompaniment, and the MHS cheerleaders led the crowd in the school song.
The evening wrapped up with the annual hot dog feed and the burning of the “M”.
