_dsc0008-13Milbank Area will host the Sisseton Redmen Friday, October 14, at AB Campbell Stadium. The Bulldogs are 5-2 on the season while Sisseton is 1-5.  “If we win, we will make the playoffs,” said Bulldog head coach Jeremy Tostenson. “That should be all the motivation we need Friday night.”

Milbank Area will stick to the same type of game plan they have used all season. “Offensively, we need to execute and cannot have any turnovers,” stated Tostenson. “On the defensive side, we need to stop giving up the big play.”

Milbank Area is dead even with Dell Rapids, both with a 5-2 record and 43.000 power points. The top three teams in the class are also all knotted up. Madison, St. Thomas More and Tea Area are each undefeated with a 7-0 record and have 44.857 power points each. Sioux Falls Christian is in between the mix with a 6-1 record and 43.714 points. Rounding out the top eight teams in the class is Hot Springs, 6-1 with 42.429 points, and Dakota Valley at 5-2 with 41.286 points.

Friday night will also feature band night for the Milbank High School and Middle School bands. Each will perform at halftime. Kickoff for the game is set for 7 p.m.
