Nine bowlers from Milbank competed in the regional Special Olympics bowling tournament October 14, in Aberdeen and all will advance to State. The state bowling tournament is Friday, November 4, in Aberdeen.
Courtney Kroemer rolled a second place finish and Tyler Johnson took third. Chris Stodolski, Briar Zuraff, and Makenzie Wittrock all placed fourth. Trevor Lacek, Jacob O’Donnell, and Danny Van Dover finished fifth and Mariah Pillatzki placed seventh.
“The students did a great job and had fun,” said Abbey Trapp, one of the teachers and coaches who accompanied the students to the event. The students practice bowling three times a week during their adaptive physical education class with Jeremy Tostenson.
