Milbank Man Charged with Second-Degree Murder

 Michael Swan, age 62 of Milbank, formerly of West Palm Beach, Florida, appeared before the Circuit Court in Grant County on Monday, October 31, on an amended charge of murder in the second degree.

Swan is accused of killing his wife, Angelina Swan, on or about October 24 at their shared apartment in the Chalet Apartment building in Milbank. According to Grant County State’s Attorney Mark A. Reedstrom, Swan did not enter a plea in court. He is being held at the Grant County Detention Center without bond. Swan is being represented by Scott Bratland of Watertown. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 17.
