Caryssa Mielitz Signs With NSU Women’s Basketball Program

Milbank High School senior Caryssa Mielitz signed her letter of intent to play women’s basketball for Northern State University.  Mielitz committed to the NSU Wolves on National Signing Day Wednesday, November 9.

Mielitz is a 6’2” post player for the Lady Bulldogs and a three-year starter. She was named to the All-Northeast Conference team as a junior. Last season, she averaged 13.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. With a field goal percentage of .451, she tallied 277 points, 170 rebounds, 34 steals, nine blocked shots and three assists last year.

Mielitz is also a four-year starter for the Lady Bulldogs volleyball team. She was named to the All-NEC team last season and was a member of the Milbank Area team who finished seventh at the State Class A tournament.
